PHM Planetarium & Air/Space Museum

Through the guidance of Art Klinger, the Penn-Harris-Madison School Corporation (PHM), developed a Digital Video Theater (DVT) with a fully immersive environment, anchored by a Digistar 5 projector.  After more than three decades of service, Art Klinger has retired.  Mindy O'Malley followed as DVT Director.

Also housed under the dome is an Air/Space Museum that Klinger built up with items on loan from the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum, NASA, and Klinger's private collection.  On display are autographs of significant persons in the history of flight and the manned space program. Among the 44 space objects, 13 had been on the moon.

Below are PDF documents of pages from my earlier, unofficial website I created to showcase the collection and programs at the original PHM Planetarium and Air/Space Museum.

"Art Klinger hasn’t just been a PHM teacher for over 30 years--he has been the founder, steward, advocate, and energy behind a Michiana institution."
