Kids, Bring Your Adults to Science Alive

I've got a question to ask you at 2018 Science Alive about scale models. Please visit the lower level of the St. Joseph County Public Library (SJCPL) in downtown South Bend, IN, on Saturday, February 3. I expect to be around the Malloy and Pokagon Rooms with the solar system activities.

Youths, bring adults, but it's your opinion I want to hear.

Among the astronomy outreach at Science Alive will be two rooms staffed by astronomy enthusiasts from Michiana Astronomical Society (MAS) and YMCA AstroCamp. This year AstroCamp also seeks stories from fifth graders for an essay contest in which one girl and one boy will each receive a free week at AstroCamp.

And while you're reading this, mark your calendar May 18-20, 2018, for the 10th Michiana Star Party (MSP10) at Dr. TK Lawless County Park in Vandalia, MI. But first, Science Alive.
